Facilitator - Emma Berry
Emma’s professional experience working with children spans over 28 years. For most of this period, she has worked in the early childhood education sector in the capacity of a teacher, centre director, lecturer and business proprietor. For the past seven years, Emma has been working with children in foster care. Currently Emma and her husband, Ashley, reside in Papatoetoe as House Parents in a therapeutic family-group home. She and Ashley have been married for 27 years and have three biological (grown-up) children.
Emma is passionate about creating optimal environments in which to nurture and ‘grow’ well-grounded and well-rounded children and as a result she has been proactive about adding to her parenting knowledge ever since becoming a parent! She has shared these insights in her role as a Parent-Coach, Toolbox-Parenting Facilitator, and a workshop presenter at the Parenting Place in Greenlane, Auckland.
