One of the first ICT initiatives for parents this year is an upcoming short seminar hosted by our Parent Coach - Emma Berry and titled ‘Build healthy connections with those around you’.
It’s open to all and FREE!
More about the topic…
“We all make perfect sense, when we can make sense of our past.” - Emma Berry
Emma comments “At the seminar you will discover that our earliest relational experiences have a profound impact on all of our subsequent interactions throughout our lifetime. The way our needs were met (or not met), and the emotional responses we received from our primary caregiver - as an infant/toddler - has hard-wired our brain and formed the lens through which we see ourselves, others and the world.
If your needs were met by a loving, responsive and caring caregiver, you will likely have a secure attachment style. Experts suggest that approximately 50% of the population have a secure attachment style.
If you think that you are part of the other 50% and would like to find out how you can learn more about a secure attachment style, then come along to this enlightening workshop and discover how!
Neuroscience has proven that our brain is malleable, and so is our attachment style!”
